Short-term rentals
Not allowed
Effectively prohibited — Bluffdale requires occupancy of 30 days or greater.
Bluffdale's Land Use Ordinances (Title 11) require residential occupancy of 30 days or greater. Accessory Dwelling Units are explicitly disallowed from being used as short-term rentals. Together, these provisions effectively prohibit typical short-term (under-30-day) rentals such as Airbnb or Vrbo across the city.
- Restriction: Residential occupancy must be 30 days or longer
- Restriction: ADUs cannot be used as short-term rentals
- Affirmative: Long-term rentals (30+ days) follow standard zoning rules
